Senior Pastor Gregory A. Hackett grew up as a "PK", "preacher's kid. His father, Charles Hackett was also Senior Pastor at First Assembly of God. |
Pastor Greg and his wife Lisa were married in March 1983. They have three children: Tyler, Katie and Robert. |

After graduating from Jefferson High School, Greg chose to attend Evangel College and majored in Biblical Studies. The summer before graduation, he completed his internship at First Assembly, Lafayette. He married Lisa in March and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in May 1983. | |

Lisa and Greg moved to Logansport, Indiana, in June, when he became an Associate/Youth Pastor at First Assembly, Logansport. You may note that Greg has great stories to tell during this time period that include tales of the newly-married. These stories frequently used within his sermon messages for the laughter and blessing of the congregation. |

Sharing his heart for missions, he has traveled and ministered in England, Sierre Leone, Namibia, South Africa, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sudan and Brazil.
