Chris Johns

Chris and wife Daci, have three children: Chenelle, Colten and Carter.  

Chris Johns has served as Principal of First Assembly Christian Academy since the '98-'99 school year.  A Purdue graduate, he earned a bachelor of science degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from the School of Technology. He acquired his Master's degree in Education Administration from Southwestern A/G University in Texas and is also a certified minister in the Assemblies of God. So, in fact, he is Pastor Chris.   

Prior to serving as principal, Chris served as both the Athletic Director and Assistant Principal of FACA. He coached the elementary boys basketball team for five years before coaching varsity baseball in its inaugural year. He continues to serve as director of FARM, the recreational ministries of the church.   

Chris and wife Daci live in Clinton County next to his sister and father, Pastor "D",  with their three children. And of course the children attend FACA.   

In addition to serving as Principal of FACA, Mr. Johns also is responsible for the following ministries:

  • FARM
  • Community Childcare
  • Pre-School / Elementary Ministries: Heir Force, Kidz Time, Royal Rangers and  Missionettes.  

Known for his dry, quick-wit and zingers, Pastor/Principal Chris keeps all those who attend staff meetings on their toes!
