Our Daycare

Here at First Assembly of God we believe that we offer more than just day time childcare. We engage your child's natural desire to excel through academic learning opportunities. We accomplish this through nurturing, understanding and providing age-appropriate tools and environments.

In your search for quality care we offer the following tips:

  • Visit the childcare centers you are considering. Go when other children are there and bring your children with you.
  • Spend time watching what goes on and ask questions. You will feel much better about leaving your children when you know that they will be getting quality care and enjoying positive learning experiences in a place where they feel happy, loved and safe.
  • Does it feel safe and inviting?
  • Are the rooms and equipment clean and in good condition?
  • Are there lots of safe, interesting toys and materials that children can reach by themselves (but not too much clutter)?
  • Are the children that are there happy, relaxed and smiling most of the time?
  • Do the teachers seem warm, loving and relaxed? Do they make the children feel welcome when they arrive?
  • Do teachers talk and listen to children? Do they respond quickly to children's cries, words and behaviors?
  • Are the children well supervised, yet allowed to explore on their own and played with on their own level?
  • As a parent, are you invited to visit the childcare center frequently?
