There are many things to consider as you search for the best child care for your family.
We believe that we do a better job of helping children learn and grow by providing individual attention. This is especially true for very young children, who learn through activities - with other children and with the teacher. Babies do better when they can become attached to one person.
When someone takes the time to understand our feelings, it may cause us to feel loved and safe. A child who feels understood by us is more likely to trust us and feel close to us. Feeling understood helps a child understand his own feelings, respect them and deal with them. It may actually help a child find solutions to the problems.
Children learn best when they are taught by adults who know and understand them and with howm they have build strong and caring relationships.
Licensing/Accreditation
Most childcare centers and many family childcare homes, have to be licensed (by law)). This means that the program meets the state's minimum health and safety standards. Some centers and homes are also accredited. Accreditation is like a "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" for childcare providers. We're proud of our being designated as a registered childcare ministry. It lets you know that your child is in the kind of environment and with personnel that will care for your child in the same way after you leave, as they did when you were here.
