The Care Ministry is led by Lisa Hackett. It is a ministry that is very important to First Assembly. It has one goal: To ensure the minute you walk through our door as a newcomer, is the last Sunday that you feel like a newcomer.
The lay-driven Care Ministry consists of a team of volunteers that work together to meet first-time attendee’s needs when they arrive to help them find classes, the sanctuary, and classes or childcare for their children. The Care Team's mission is to make that critical first-time experience warm and welcoming.
The teams meet monthly in a small group atmosphere for training and to build relationships within the team. This ministry is always interested in additional team growth and perspective on achieving their unique and critical goal .
Whether you are looking for a church home or just passing through town, First Assembly's goal is to make you feel at home. When you walked through our doors, we believe you arrived by divine appointment and our desire is to minister to you during your visit. Whether that means simply providing information about First Assembly, offering directions within the facility or arranging a personal introduction to our Senior Pastor.
Come, join us, as we praise and worship God together!
