What is Alpha?
The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and the claims of Christianity in a friendly, relaxed setting. The course features 8 thought-provoking sessions and even the opportunity for an overnight get away. Over 16 million people worldwide have attended an Alpha Course! Come Join us!
When & Where?
The next Alpha Course begins Wednesday May 8th.
We meet at First Assembly, 108 Beck Lane, Lafayette, IN 47909.
Our typical course evening will include:
6:30 pm Start Time:
Relational evening opener
Video teaching
Dessert and discussion Groups
8:00 pm Ending Time
Children may attend our infant and early learning program or our J C Kids program which is kindergarten through fifth grade. There are also different groups for teens that night as well.

What topics are covered at Alpha?
There are a series of talks on topics such as:
Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die?
How can I be sure of my faith? Why and how should I read the Bible?
Why and how do I pray? Who is the Holy Spirit?
How does God guide us? Does God heal today?
Each of these topics are discussed in an open and relaxed atmosphere. Discussion groups give attendees the opportunity to discuss areas of concern or confusion, read relevant passages from the Bible for themselves, and receive practical, Scriptural answers to their questions.
